In the Guardian today

Thanks to Liam Morrison for alerting me to the fact that I was quoted in the Guardian today in an article about full or partial feeds.

The quote is inocuous enough – it simply says:

As tech blogger Tom Raftery (tomrafteryit.net) notes: “Partial feeds are a pain – they force you to click through to get the full story, whereas when you get there you may very well find the full story is not as interesting as you thought.”

I was surprised to hear I was being quoted – partly ‘cos so many more prominent bloggers have been far more vocal on this (and far more eloquent!) and partly ‘cos I kinda expected to be contacted before being quoted. I guess I’m still not mentally with the whole syndication idea yet – even though I have been blogging a couple of years now!
