He has some interesting ideas, but checking mail once an hour would not work for someone in my line of work 🙂
Only just saw this! Good link. I wonder how long it would take to get into the “maintenance mindset” this requires. Nowadays I pretty much just leave everything in the inbox and let Gmail search find me what I want – which is does pretty much without fail.

Personally I like the USB breathalyzer to delay the sending of drunken emails 🙂
