IE is losing ground

There is an interesting article on the BBC News website dated July 12th which indicates that Internet Explorer is losing ground to its competitors (i.e. Mozilla and Firefox) due to the recent widely publicised IE exploits.

Security professionals are strongly recommending people move away from Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer is the default browser for most Internet users but in the last four weeks its popularity has dropped from 95% market share to 94%. Not a market threatening drop by any stretch of the imagination but it does show a growing nervousness amongst users towards Internet Explorer.
